The Short Term Assessment, Rehabilitation and Reablement Service (STARRS) are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Senior Nurse who will bring new ideas and share their excellent working practice within this busy, friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team.

STARRS is an innovative service working with patients in the Harrow, Brent & Ealing communities. STARRS incorporates a Single Point of Access (SPA), nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and Therapy Technicians.
As a Band 6 Senior Nurse you will be working in the Early Support Discharge within STARRS. You will have the opportunity to:
- Gain experience in generic, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal, respiratory, and neurological rehabilitation, and falls prevention.
- Take on extended roles such as venepuncture, drug administration, advance assessment of the acutely ill patient and acute injury assessment.
- Supervise junior staff and students.
- Attend in-service training and have Continued Professional Development opportunities
Main duties of the job
Provide the highest standard of evidence based nursing care to patients within their own home, working with agreed management care plans and protocols.
Undertake and manage the comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and auditing of clinical care provision both in primary, secondary and tertiary care when appropriate.
