A wonderful opportunity has opened up for an aspiring RMN to join our healthy ageing community mental health service at the heart of Harrow, where you will be afforded the time and space to engage in specialised training and development opportunities to help you become a more enhanced community practitioner. We are looking for experienced, focused individuals, who are highly motivated with excellent communication and managerial skills. Community Services are becoming fast paced and rapidly changing to support the ‘Out of Hospital Care’ strategies, you will therefore need to demonstrate resilience in the ability to adapt to the changing landscape and opportunities as the service develops. We want to hear from you!

Working within a new service allows you to work with exciting and open-minded practitioners who are looking to create new ways of working, welcome new ideas and support one-another to set the standard. This is an opportunity to be part of a new initiative in Harrow to support older people in crisis in the community.

Based on the outskirt rural areas of London, Harrow is surrounded by beautiful parks and greenery where our staff can take advantage of the more peaceful areas. With buses taking you right outside our office and parking available in the surrounding areas, travelling to work has never been easier!

You will be expected to triage referrals and allocate work to junior staff as appropriate in addition to providing a comprehensive mental health assessment for complex patients in the acute phase of a mental health crisis.

You will also be expected to work in collaboration with the Operational Team Manager, Clinical Leads/Senior Practitioners and to have close working relationships with the community teams, inpatient services and the  HTT

To help you achieve the above our developmental role will also offer you;

• Commitment from the team to develop you by offering coaching and in-house development sessions such as, Leadership programmes, CBT, DBT and more

• Opportunities to shadow our neighbouring services including CMHTs and the memory clinic allowing you to see the full circle of treatment for our patients
• Mentoring and coaching sessions with team leaders supporting you with your development and growth into the role
• Clear objectives and pathway to develop your career further
