  • Registered nurse
  • First level degree in nursing or working towards
  • Recognised teaching or mentorship qualification
  • Post registration qualification relevant to specialty – Renal Course
  • Advanced assessment skills or willingness to undertake
Desirable criteria
  • Masters degree or working towards

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Substantial post-registration experience in area of speciality – Renal Nursing / Peritoneal dialysis
  • Experience of teaching junior members of staff
  • Experience of mentoring and assessing student nurses on placement

  • Previous experience of research and audit
  • Undertaken nurse led clinics
  • Experience of developing innovative practice and managing change
