Job overview

The Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust has the largest NHS decontamination facility in the UK, which is based in Enfield.  

The unit has the capacity to process 14 million surgical instruments and 140,000 flexible endoscopes a year providing  a service to both the NHS and Private Hospitals. The service is open 7 days a week 24 hours a day. We are looking for individuals that are able to work flexibly, have good organisational skills attention to detail and can work to deadlines. 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will offer Royal Free World Class Value based Care to service users, staff, colleagues, clients and patients alike.

Your role will be to assist in the day-to-day reprocessing of equipment required for clinical use. Technicians are required to follow demonstrated training and work instructions to ensure production is to a high standards to maintain a quality service to patients / Customers. Persons will need to able to stand for long periods of time.
