Band 5 Occupational Therapist
We are looking for motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Therapy Team. We offer four monthly rotations across acute and community including Stroke.
Our friendly and supportive department provides excellent opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge within a sound framework of regular appraisal and CPD including regular IST. This post offers excellent scope for professional development.
If you are looking for new challenges and to further your skills, this could be the post for you. to develop skills and knowledge and gain experience through participation in Band 5 rotation programme

Main duties of the job
- To manage a defined caseload, using evidence based / client centered principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in hospital and community settings, working across all specialties at Croydon NHS, which may include Elderly Care, Surgical, Orthopedics, Neuro /
Stroke Unit, Medical, cardiology, Community services and reablement. - To maintain clinical records in line with Trust and COT standards
- Actively participate in MDT.

Essential criteria
- BSc, MSc or diploma in OT
- Registered with HCPC
Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
- Application of OT models of practice and EBP
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Knowledge and understanding of activity
Experience

- Broad undergraduate / postgraduate experience
Applicant requirements
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
