Main duties of the job

The Diagnostic Imaging department of the Royal Free London Trust is a really exciting and interesting place to work.

With the recent enlargement of our Trust we currently have  vacancies within our Interventional Radiology  department  who want to learn a range of skills as a scrub, circulating, pre-operative, intra-operative care and post recovery of patient undergoing interventional procedures e.g. Embolization, angioplasty, biopsy and radiofrequency ablation.

With an excellent senior team on board we are able to offer a supportive learning and development opportunity for all staff. We welcome not only newly qualified nurses but also those who are looking to expand their knowledge and skills.

If you are enthusiastic, motivated and want to be part of our expanding and friendly team, we would like to hear from you. Informal visits welcomed, come and see our interventional unit and meet the team.

Experience

  • Recent experience of working in acute clinical setting
  • Relevant experience at Band 5 or relevant experience demonstrating the appropriate competence and skill for the job

  • Cannulation and phlebotomy
  • Safe administration and disposal of Controlled drugs and cytotoxic drugs
