To bolster our efforts and continue to provide high quality, patient focussed services, we are seeking a Consultant to join the Louth CAMHS team, as part of our Specialist services division. We are looking for a doctor who is passionate and committed to the development of child and adolescent psychiatry and who is able to support the service on site at the Meridian Centre, Windsor House, Louth, LN11 0LF.

The role is part-time at 6PAs per week. As the role may entail travel across the county, it is integral that the postholder is able to travel via car, or provide evidence of transport options. We are keen to speak to anyone interested in this role who is looking for a flexible working arrangement which may include job share, part time, compressed hours and we are open to discuss an element of hybrid working.

• To provide a full range of psychiatric treatments to service users. 

• To be part of a multi-disciplinary team and work closely with local managers and services to ensure the efficient running of services and contribution to management. 

• To be mindful of and actively involved in current safeguarding practices.

• To be part of the CAMHS Consultant cover rota both in and out of hours.

• To work clinically with children, young people and their families/carers and other allied professionals.

• To be involved in the assessment and management of urgent and routine referrals.

• To liaise closely with other relevant agencies.

• To keep accurate records as required.

• To contribute to service meetings for the services and contribute to the development of service strategy.

• To contribute to in-house training programmes within the services.

• To contribute to the development of knowledge and skills within the Service.

• To arrange and provide cross cover for leave with other Consultants on a reciprocal basis.

• To share responsibility for clinical audit of services with other consultant colleagues and in this matter, will comply with Royal College requirements.
