An opportunity has arisen to join our expanding at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, progressive, friendly and forward thinking pharmacy team.

Main duties of the job

Our progressive department is in the process of a period of rapid transformational change to ensure that it is a service fit for the future and is at the forefront of the Hospital Pharmacy Transformation Programme.

We are dedicated to ensuring that medicines optimisation is embedded across all aspects of care within the Trust to deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective use of medicines.

We take pride in developing our pharmacists through formal and informal study, clinical supervision and training. We will support you to provide high quality services to patients and healthcare professionals alike. This includes offering opportunities to complete an accredited post-graduate clinical pharmacy diploma and pharmacist independent prescriber qualification. We support automatic progression from band 6 to band 7 upon completion of a post-graduate clinical diploma. You will also work with lead Pharmacists to review and develop policies and contribute to monthly directorate medicines optimisation reports.

Applicants must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated pharmacist to join our team, to provide a patient focused service to the wards and departments of the Trust. Rotations include acute medicine, surgery, dispensary, aseptic and cancer.
