6 month fixed term post – suitable as a secondment opportunity

The most important thing to LPFT is delivering safe, effective, high quality patient care. This can only happen if those who provide the care are themselves treated with kindness and compassion. This 6 month temporary role is designed to enable us to better understand and respond to the level of violence, aggression and discrimination towards our employees and to support us to plan for the future to improve and address this.

The post holder will determine the current experience of staff in relation to violence, aggression and discrimination, evaluate the current support mechanisms in place and arrive at recommendations for how the Trust should improve staff safety and experience moving forwards.

Although the post holder is not required to be a subject matter expert in violence and aggression, an understanding and commitment to the importance of this agenda and why it matters is essential. This may be through lived and learnt experience of working within or using our services and witnessing first hand violence, aggression and discrimination towards others.

Closing date for applications: 12th July

Interview date:  25 July 2024
