Do you have an in depth knowledge of Gynaecological Nursing Practice? Would you like to train as an autonomous Nurse Colposcopist as part of our supportive multi disciplinary team. Enabling you in the longer term to work autonomously as an independent Nurse Colposcopist within the
colposcopy service in line with best practice once. If so then this opportunity may be for you.
Main duties of the job
The role of the Colposcopy CNS is to support all dimensions of the clinical pathway, ensuring that investigation, treatment, support and information for all patients within colposcopy, reflect evidenced based and best practice in accordance with the training standards laid down by the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP)

- first level degree in the relevant field
- 2 years current experience at band 5/6 within the field
Desirable criteria
- management qualification

- experience in diagnostic and therapeutic colposcopy clinics
Desirable criteria
- management experience at ward level
- involvement in change management

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
