Administration Assistant - Booking Office - Grimsby

The post holder will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical functions arranging appointments in a booking office and using an electronic scheduling system to book appointments

You will be expected to display a pleasant and caring approach, especially when dealing with patients.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

Operational use of Diagnostic Information Systems (e.g., Lorenzo & RIS) to register patients attending the departments for examination, ensuring the data entered is accurate and correct.

Answer telephone queries in a timely manner

Demonstrate own tasks to new starters as directed.

Work with other patient administration departments in line with the continuing needs of the NHS Plan and other developments in health care.

Attend any relevant training courses necessary to ensure the effective delivery of the role and maintain personal development.

Understand and adhere to the concept of Confidentiality to ensure that this important aspect of care is not breached.

Safeguard at all times the confidentiality of information in relation to patients and staff.  Information relating to identifiable persons must on no account be divulged other than to an authorised person.
