For all other Medical Workforce positions, the full-time entitlement commences from 27 days per annum.
- Bank working: The chance to work extra hours at enhanced rates and we will pay you weekly too, ideal if your income needs a quick boost.

Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a vascular scientist/technologist to join our team here in Lincolnshire.
The vascular service is based at pilgrim hospital in Boston Lincolnshire, however the role will entail traveling to the peripheral hospital to assist in Consultant led one stop clinics.
The Vascular Suite is a purpose built department with Toshiba GE and vicorder for ABPI measurements. The Consultant clinics and outpatient clinics are all run from this purpose built department so that patients do no have to be moved around the hospital for scans.
Main duties of the job
Carotid duplex scan
Ankle /brachial index
Treadmill test with ankle/brachial index
Arterial duplex scan upper and lower extremities.
DVT screening
Venous duplex Scan upper and lower extremities
Vein mapping and Pre- op marking of the veins upper and lower extremities
Bypass graft surveillance
EVAR Surveillance
Arterio venous fistula surveillance.
Renal artery Duplex scan
AAA scan
Transcranial Duplex scan and TCD monitoring in theatre

- degree in a appropirate subject or equivalent in level of knowledge
- experience in performing vascular diagnostic scans
Desirable criteria
- general diploma in medical ultrasound (DMU) or equivalent
- highter degree or post graduate diploma in vascular diagnostic scan
previous experience
Essential criteria
- in-depth experience of working in vascular diagnostic scans
Desirable criteria
- experience of involvement in service development and business planning
evidence of knowlege/skills/aptitude
Essential criteria
- good IT skills (ECDL level 1 or equivalent)
