NHS AfC: Band 5

We are actively promoting flexible working options, helping you to manage a work / life balance

Trosolwg o'r swydd

The Lincoln Renal Unit  is looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about nursing and delivering care. You will be part of a nursing team providing haemodialysis treatment to 72 patients in an outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with a positive and proactive attitude, and have an ability to work in a team or independently. We are looking for an individual who has the desire to deliver a high standard of care to patients  and would like an opportunity to develop their skills within a renal speciality.

Previous experience in Renal/ Haemodialysis is desirable but not essential, as full in-house training and support will be given. The team you will be joining is dedicated to the training of both staff and patients.

The management team is highly supportive and visible within the unit

The unit is open from 7am to 11pm Monday to Saturday.  The staff work a mixture of 10 and 7.5 hour shifts within these times.

Informal discussion and/or visits are welcome and encouraged. Please contact Unit Manager Lorraine Makin or Matron Siobhan Sodiwala on 01522 57361

Interviews are planned for 20th August 2024.

Gweithio i'n sefydliad

Our new strategy, developed with the support and feedback of colleagues, patients, and partners, is our compass for the next seven years (2023-2030).

We have four primary goals:

  • high-quality care for all,
  • being a great place to work,
  • partnerships for impact, and
  • research and education excellence

And we will embed health equality in all we do - taking active steps to reduce the avoidable differences in healthcare that some people face, working in partnership with communities.

Our strategy is underpinned by new values and we will work to ensure they are an everyday reality for all:

  • we are compassionate,
  • we are proud,
  • we are inclusive, and
  • we are one team

This is an exciting moment as we look to the future with clarity on what we already do well and where we need to focus our energies to make an even bigger difference for the people we serve.
