Anaesthetics Patient Pathway Coordinator

Band 3

We are actively promoting flexible working options, helping you to manage a work / life balance

Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinic Coordinator to join the ITAPS Anaesthetic Admin Team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as Anaesthetics Review Clinic Coordinator .

You will be responsible for  outpatient Anaesthetic review clinics; this will include all administrative tasks from referral to discharge.

Please ensure you can provide evidence of the required qualifications, as you will be expected to present these at your id check appointment if successful.

Main duties of the job

  • The role involves liaising directly with the Consultant Anaesthetists as well as the various other stakeholders including admin/management staff from surgical specialties, so experience in customer service along with excellent communication skills will be very desirable in this role.

  • This is a demanding and rewarding role and it is essential that the successful candidate is able to work effectively as part of a team whilst prioritising and managing their workload.

  • If you are a highly organised person, would love a challenge and like to keep busy then this is the job for you.

  • Regular cross-site working will be required to best meet the service needs and to ensure that the individual is kept up to date with the clinics on each of the sites

Working for our organisation

Our new strategy, developed with the support and feedback of colleagues, patients, and partners, is our compass for the next seven years (2023-2030).

We have four primary goals:

  • high-quality care for all,
  • being a great place to work,
  • partnerships for impact, and
  • research and education excellence

And we will embed health equality in all we do - taking active steps to reduce the avoidable differences in healthcare that some people face, working in partnership with communities.

Our strategy is underpinned by new values and we will work to ensure they are an everyday reality for all:

  • we are compassionate,
  • we are proud,
  • we are inclusive, and
  • we are one team

This is an exciting moment as we look to the future with clarity on what we already do well and where we need to focus our energies to make an even bigger difference for the people we serve.
