General Practitioner with Extended Role Pain and ME/CFS (2 days)
We are excited to launch the recruitment for a GP with Extended Role Pain and ME/CFS to work with the team based at Minerva Centre, Preston. This role would be 2 days per week.
This post is part of Central Lancashire Moving Well, a community-based service providing integrated Musculoskeletal, Rheumatological, Pain & ME/CFS care for the CCGs of Greater Preston & Chorley and South Ribble.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work together with the clinical team leader and the clinical team to develop the community-based Pain and ME/CFS service in liaison with professional and clinical colleagues in community and primary care.
The Pain and ME/CFS Service is supported by an extensive multi-disciplinary team.
To be eligible for this role you should be able to demonstrate:
• evidence of a CCT or equivalent in general practice
• evidence of being currently registered and licensed and in good standing with the GMC
• evidence of continued practice in a primary care role on a performers list (or equivalent) and active engagement in an annual medical (whole scope of practice) appraisal
