Job overview

The Band 6 District Nurse Caseload Holder  in Community nursing is a key member of the divisional senior nursing and leadership team, responsible for providing the very best care to patients within the community and home, wherever that may be.

In addition you will lead a team of nurses and other key members of the care team contributing to the development and delivery of clinical nursing care, maintaining and improving professional standards and the development of nursing standards within your area of practice.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting time to join the Integrated Community Services Division in a senior nursing role as a Band 6 District Nurse Caseload Holder in Community Nursing at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, as we continue on our journey towards achieving our Bolton Health and Care Integrated Partnership Vision:

As a Band 6 District Nurse Caseload Holder you and your team will work in line with agreed objectives and quality standards which will then contribute to delivering high quality, safe and effective patient services within the District Nursing Service

  • V150/ V100 NM Prescriber
  • Wound Care/Leg Ulcer Qualification

EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive Post registration community nursing experience
  • Previous out of hours experience
  • End of Life/Palliative care.

SKILLS

KNOWLEDGE
