An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Accident and Emergency Department for an experienced Band 5 registered nurse. We have an excellent team of health care professionals dedicated to Emergency Care provision for the local community. We are looking for motivated nurses to work in our busy department, following our trust values of “Putting patients and staff at the heart of everything we do, being respected, valued and proud”

Main duties of the job

The Emergency Department is a very busy and fast paced environment treating patients who present with acute medical, surgical or mental health needs and also those who present with minor injury/illness.

We have an excellent in house induction and training programme led by our practice educators. We run regular training days relevant to role and experience utilising the National curriculum and competency framework from the RCN.  We also have development packages designed towards achieving clinical and leadership skills and training needs analysis geared towards development into differing career pathways within the department.

We are therefore looking to recruit motivated, hardworking nurses who have excellent communication skills & a passion for their role and improving patient care When working clinically we expect you to perform with passion and drive, provide clinically excellent care, and be supportive to patients, relatives, and other MDT members.  As a registered nurse you will be expected to promote and lead the delivery of an excellent standard of patient centred care in a supported environment.
