Job overview
We require a Trust Grade Doctor (ST3+ level) in General & Geriatric Medicine to join our Care of the older Person team including Acute Frailty Multi-Disciplinary Team.
There will also be expectation to join our medical on call service provision for general medicine.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work our Care of the Older Person wards and Acute Frailty Unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital where there is a strong focus on multi-disciplinary teamwork alongside established Medical, Nursing, Therapy and Advanced Clinical Practice staff. The post holder will receive a Consultant supervisor and will deliver a wide range of clinical care in managing patients in an acute setting.
