The Trust is part of the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care System (ICS) supporting a population of around 1.6 million people.

We have three main hospitals providing acute services to around 330,000 local residents. The organisation also provides specialist tertiary care for cardiac and haematology services, delivers community health services to over 445,000 residents including those in North Lancashire and hosts the National Artificial Eye Service across England. Job overview

The post holder will support the Rapid Response Team carrying out agreed responsibilities including assisting with the delivery of the Respiratory Virtual Ward. The duties will be varied, including both clinical face to face and administrative.  It is preferable that you have experience in the use of IT systems such as; community emis, excel and Microsoft word, however support will be provided. The post holder will strive to provide excellent patient centred care whilst working alongside the clinical and administrative team., ensuring their actions are in line with the Trust's Visions and Values whilst working towards the Five Year Strategy Plan.

JOB SUMMARY:

 

The post holder will work in the Community setting supporting the clinicians within the Rapid Response Team, carrying out agreed tasks. The duties will be both nursing, therapy and clerical, aiming to provide appropriate support within an integrating team. The post holder will accept the responsibility for doing a quality job, aspire to achieve, share a corporate pride in achievements and strive to act as an ambassador for good quality
