Complaints Administrator/Personal Assistant

Provide a comprehensive, high quality, administrative Personal Assistant and secretarial service the Directorate Manager (DM) / Directorate Matrons and provide ad hoc support to other staff within the relevant area.  To be complaints co-ordinator for the ED/Acute Directorate ensuring all complaints are dealt with in a speedy professional and caring manner.

 

This role is office-based Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on site in the Emergency Department at Royal Blackburn .

Ensure that personal actions and conduct comply with the Trust Policies and Procedures, e.g. Health and Safety, Tobacco Control Policy, Equal Opportunities, Confidentiality, Data Protection Act (1998) and Moving and Handling Regulations.

 

Attend training courses as required, e.g. induction, moving and handling, fire lectures etc.

  • GCSE English at grade 4 or above
  • IT Skills, familiar with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint
  • RSA 3 typing qualification of equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years comprehensive secretarial experience or equivalent

  • • Winscribe digital dictation system or similar.
  • ECDL/Experience using ELHT Systems
