Membership Governance Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team. This new role will work closely with the Company Secretary across both Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, to lead and develop an effective Council of Governors and Membership as a key statutory function within the governance model of Foundation Trusts.
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of an effective membership strategy, enabling fulfilment of all aspects of membership recruitment and engagement. You will need to ensure effective arrangements are in place for the Council of Governors to fulfil their statutory duties, supporting the Company Secretary with respect to key statutory duties.
This is a great opportunity for an individual with experience of building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, with an organised and systematic approach.
You will co-ordinate the work plan and agenda setting process for the Council of Governors, and be responsible for servicing the meeting which will include preparation and distribution of papers including attending and producing minutes and follow up actions. You will therefore need to be organised, have good administrative skills, be able to communicate verbally and in writing. The role will entail taking minutes, but support will be provided should you need development in this area.
