Radiology Clerical Officer - Band 2 - Permanent

 

The Department of Radiology is looking to recruit a full-time Clerical Officer to join the administration team, the post holder will be providing administration and reception support for all modalities within Radiology.

The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of reception work, preferably in a healthcare setting, in addition to being well organised, motivated and be flexible to meet the needs of the service.

The Radiology reception service operates on a rota system between the hours of 8.00 am and 9.00 pm seven days per week.  Please note that these hours are the contracted hours and candidates must be available to work all shift patterns.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high quality clerical service to facilitate the effective organisation of the departments clerical structure. They will be required to work across the department offering support to both clinical and non clinical staff members.

Main duties of the job

To provide clerical support to the Department of Radiology; working in all modalities on rotation as a  member of the team.

  • Good Standard GCSE's (Grade A-C or Grade 4-9) or CSE Grade 1 including English Language & Mathematics or equivalent relevant experience
