Job overview

We are looking for an efficient Admin Assistant to join our Rehab and Therapy Service team based in Whitstable. 

As a Band 2 Admin Assistant you will support the multi-disciplinary team with all the admin needs of the service. Your role will be integral to the experience of our patients, getting them discharged from hospital and helping them get home to recover in the quickest tie possible. 

 

Main duties of the job

You'll need to be an efficient administrator, able to deal with conflicting priorities and incoming challenges. You'll need to be a competent user of Microsoft Office programmes and quick to pick up new systems. 

A good team player is a must, our work can be challenging at times, but it's also rewarding, you can see the difference you make!

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Level 2 qualification (e.g. GCSE grades 9-4 / A*-C, NVQ level 2, BTEC diploma / certificate, O Level grades A-C) or equivalent demonstrable experience
Desirable criteria
  • NVQ Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Administrative experience Experience of team working and versatility to take on a variety of tasks
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of handling confidential information Experience of working with members of the public

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office packages e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
