The occupational therapy team provides specialist support to enable people to live their lives fully in the
You will be expected to:
•Manage a clinical caseload providing assessment and interventions for people with a learning disability. You
•Measure progress and ensure effective outcomes for the individual
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team. You
•Contribute to the development of multi-disciplinary best practice, service development and quality

- Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant Professional body (Occupational Therapist / HCPC) Degree in Occupational Therapy

- Mentoring qualification equivalent
EXPERIENCE

- Experience of recent community healthcare gained through education or work experience placement or previous employment

- Experience of working with people with a learning disability
KNOWLEDGE

- Awareness of professional issues and recent developments in the NHS Knowledge of up to date clinical practice Legislation and policies relating to people with a learning disability
