Job overview
An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly experienced, Director of Planned
This senior role, reports to the Chief Delivery Officer and works closely with the Executive
You will be leading a team of highly experienced individuals to deliver RTT, Cancer and
You will be responsible for operational planning for planned care and the subject matter
You will also be responsible for contracting and commissioning performance for over 200
In addition, you will bring knowledge of the current strategic context and will help to create a
Main duties of the job
• The post holder will have responsibility for the strategic and operational development of
• Ensure the strategy is formulated, understood by all stakeholders and is delivered utilising
• Ensure the development and management of plans, within the Kent and Medway
• Ensure AQP and Independent Providers contracts are commission and contracted managed
• Proactively manage the key risks and issues associated with ensuring appropriate actions
• Monitoring and establishing accountability on the overall progress of the strategy to ensure
• Manage the budget for all AQP and Independent sector contracts , have senior budget
