An exciting management opportunity within the Radiology administrative and clerical team has become available at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
The Administration Manager will be responsible for the provision of operational and day to day management of clerical and administration services within the radiology directorate alongside senior operational and administrative colleagues. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to build on existing leadership and management skills.
Main duties of the job

You will be expected to provide day to day operational management of the administrative and clerical staff who work across the areas of Radiology. The areas of responsibility include recruitment, staff rota management, appraisals, training, managing attendance and other Human Resources issues. The post holder will also be responsible for assuring National Guidelines associated with diagnostic bookings are met, efficient and accurate clerical work is carried out by all staff whilst making recommendations for a more effective delivery of services, management liaison with GPs, patients and other hospital staff in respect of radiological investigations.
The post holder will be expected to be available to work at any MTW site as required.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Education to degree level or equivalent OR 5 years’ experience in a commensurate position
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of further education

Experience
Essential criteria
- A minimum of 3 years’ previous work in a management / supervisory position
- Extensive Previous work in an administrative role.
- Previous work supervisory/management experience in Radiology or a similar service
Desirable criteria
- Thorough knowledge of Radiological procedures
- Management Qualification
- Extensive NHS / Healthcare experience
