Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

The successful candidate will be joining the Breast Screening Office team, who strive to ensure patient care is at the forefront of our service. You will provide clerical and admin support which contributes to the smooth running of the breast screening office. Accuracy and attention to detail is paramount for this post which involves scheduling and booking appointments for routine and urgent breast examinations and procedures, ensuring national targets are not breached.

The post also involves communication with patients and all members of the multi-disciplinary team; face-to-face and by telephone. Therefore an outgoing nature and pleasant manner is essential, displaying tact and diplomacy where necessary. Additional duties include record keeping, input of data onto the Breast screening computer programme, setting up letter templates. Previous experience in a healthcare setting and use of patient databases is essential.

Some Reception duties will be required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a busy administration environment.
  • Experience in dealing with clients or patients.
  • Use of bespoke computer systems i.e. RIS, CRIS
  • An understanding of the Data Protection Act 1998
