Job overview

An exciting opportunity as a part time Ward Clerk has become available within the Eye Day Care department at Maidstone Hospital.

This role is pivotal in the smooth running of the department. We are a small team within the Ophthalmology Department, our ethos is to work together as a team for the benefit of our patients.

Main duties of the job

The post involves ordering and collating notes for admission lists and a variety of other specialist clinics.  Your role also involves the preparation of the notes for both admissions and clinics. You would be expected to admit and discharge patients and book follow up appointments as appropriate. You will have a close working relationship with the medical and nursing teams and other support staff.
