Band: 5 (will consider a progression band 4 to 5)

Salary: £26,530 - £36,483 per annum/pro rata

Please note this role is Fixed term/Secondment for 12 months covering maternity leave

We are recruiting for a Senior Pharmacy Technician  who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.

Main duties of the job

To support the Lead Clinical trials Technician – Clinical Trials, Research and Innovation in the operational delivery of a safe, effective and high quality clinical trials service to Medway NHS Foundation Trust patients that complies with current legislation (e.g. Medicines for Human use 
(Clinical trials) Regulations 2004) and best practice guidelines (e.g. Good Clinical practice (GCP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

To develop relationships and work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including Clinical Research Organisations (CROs), Trial Sponsors, Principal Investigators (PIs) and research teams.

The post holder is also expected to work closely with the Research and Innovation (R&I) operational team supporting the implementation of medicines related trials with the Trust.
