Qualifications, training, knowledge and experience

• 1^st level registered nurse
• Degree / diploma in adult nursing

• Clinical competence in core nursing care provision
• Evidence of continual professional development
• Ability to plan and develop programmes of care/care packages
• Works within codes of practice and professional guidelines

• Ability to carry put risk assessments
• Professional, clinical knowledge acquired through training to degree/diploma level.

Desirable

• A wide breadth of relevant community nursing experience, including palliative care and wound care
• Experience of provision of holistic community nursing care provision
• Demonstrates comprehensive skill set to meet the breadth of community care provision

• Provide and receive complex, sensitive information; barriers to understanding; persuasive, motivational, negotiating, training skills are required.
