We are an assessment and advice service as well as providing interventions to children and young people using evidence-
We are currently seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist (0.8-1.0wte), with minimum of 2- years post qualification
East Sussex are in the process of implementing a multi-agency neurodevelopmental pathway which includes Occupational

This post is based in the neighbourhood team (either Eastbourne or Hastings location), working with children or young
The post-holder will work closely with the Therapy One Point team of therapists and as part of an integrated therapy team

Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy State registration with Health and Care Professions Council
Experience

- Documented evidence of continued professional development. Appropriate experience working as a clinician for a minimum of two years. Documented evidence of provision of training to colleagues or other professional staff.
Knowledge

- Understanding of educational settings Understanding of statutory assessment process and EHCP provision Understanding of universally available programmes to schools
Skills and Abilities

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills. IT skills.
