Full time- 10 PAs

Main duties of the job

One Consultant Paediatrician with Neonatal Interest is required to join an existing team of 19 Paediatricians on a substantive contract at the Darent Valley Hospital, Dartford

We are hoping to become level 2 or LNU in near future. This post is created keeping this trust’s plans in mind. The trust has recently refreshed its strategy and is very much committed to become university hospital. We are very closely linked with Kent and Medway Medical School.

This is a full-time post but part time and job share are also encouraged subject to department needs. This is an excellent opportunity for senior trainees who are finishing their CCT in next 3-6months.

The appointment, with 10-programmed activities, will be made in accordance with the 2003 Consultant Contract Terms and Conditions. The candidates who are unable, for personal reasons, to work full time are eligible to apply and, if successful, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis in consultation with clinical director and consultant colleagues.

Applicants are required to have 12 months of NICU and 6 months of LNU experience during the higher training years detailed in the job pack.

The information pack for this position is designed to provide you with information about the Trust, the department, the role and terms and conditions of the post.
