Job overview

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Radiographers to join the general and interventional Radiography team based at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital, East Kent Hospital University Foundation Trust.

This is an exciting opportunity of a rotational post between Interventional and general Radiography. With new and expanding State-of-the-Art Interventional suites, dedicated to providing high quality diagnostic services to our patients.

Participation in the out of hours interventional on call service is essential.

•    Team working, effective communication skills and flexibility are essential requirements for this post.

•    If you enjoy a challenge, are willing to learn and work effectively both independently and within a team, then contact us for an informal discussion.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will rotate through the Interventional Radiology suites and General radiography department.

Interest in Interventional Radiology and established general radiographic skills are essential.

Previous Radiographic experience working within interventional Radiography or a mechanical thrombectomy service is desirable.

You must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn. You will need the ability to work under pressure with a flexible approach to working time. Being sympathetic, caring and the ability to work within a team are essential.

In liaison with other senior radiographers the post holder will provide supervision of junior staff and students.
