We are recruiting for a Patient Access Co-ordinator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (MVCC) is one of Europe’s leading and largest cancer treatment centres. Clinical radiotherapy equipment comprises of six linear accelerators including five Truebeam units, image guidance technology and volumetric arc therapy (RapidArc) capabilities.
The Radiotherapy department is operational 7 days a week including bank holidays. External beam radiotherapy is routinely delivered between 8am-8pm Monday - Friday.
As a Patient Access Co-ordinator you will liaise closely with clinical and patient pathway access teams to ensure patients receive timely and appropriate appointments for outpatient and inpatient radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment.

You will act as a point of contact for queries relating to scheduling of patient appointments and co-ordination of patient treatment pathways. Ensure telephone calls, email correspondence are answered within the agreed time and in line with the departmental policy.
You will provide a professional and efficient point of contact for patients.
You will identify individual patient needs and co-ordinate support for patient attendance including accessibility, patient transport and interpreter services.
You will support scheduling of all patients appointments in line in with Trust and National waiting time targets.
Attend regular meetings with management and clinical teams to review capacity and support action to utilise clinical capacity
Assist in investigating any complaints or incidents that arise in relation to scheduled appointments.

ENHT is seeking to maintain and expand the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre staff as we move to an exciting new future.

In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,134 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata.
