Main duties of the job
The University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) 's recruitment team has a fantastic opportunity for a customer-focused, friendly and enthusiastic individual.
You will be delivering a fast-paced recruitment service, processing candidates through the employment check process ensuring a fast, safe and customer-focused service is provided.
This role sits within the HR Operations team, which coordinates the pre-employment check compliance of all non-medical posts within the Trust.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
As a recruitment administrator, you’ll oversee the recruitment compliance of all new starters for the trust. This will involve:
• Administering the pre-employment check process for both internal/external candidates and unpaid placements
• Adherence to the NHS Employment check standards and compliance with appropriate employment legislation
• Communicating with and supporting hiring managers and candidates over the phone, face-to-face and via email
• Delivery of a timely, accurate and high-quality customer-focused service
• Support the reception function as and when required
You will be required to have:
Experience in a busy administrative environment
Ability to work to tight deadlines, organising and prioritising own workload, seeking advice and referring when appropriate.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexibly – both in terms of the activities performed and, on occasion, working hours.
Able to cover shifts 8 am - 6 pm Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturday morning

- Good standard of general education
Previous or relevant experience necessary
