Detailed job description and main responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Standard elements of ICM training

•               You will join the middle grade rota for other Drs in training and have access to competency certification in the full range of General ICM clinical activities. This would be suitable for those training in ICM, in Anaesthetics or in similar specialities.

•               Once established, (after at least 6 months), and depending on the wishes of the candidate, there is opportunity to transfer to other clinical areas, (Cardiac ICM, Neuro ICM, Paediatric ICM and General Medicine) as required for single speciality training equivalence. For the right candidate, this could lead to the opportunity to develop a GMC-approved CESR pathway for Specialist Registration in single speciality ICM
