Junior Rotational Pharmacist

Band 6

Our cultural ambition is to have a culture that places people at the heart of all we do, where we all belong, and where learning, improvement and excellence thrive.

Job overview

We are seeking enthusiastic Pharmacists who may be starting their career, those who might want to return to work from a career break or those considering a transition into hospital pharmacy from the retail, primary care or industry sector. The successful candidate will join our pharmacy team, and be supported to develop their experience in a range of ward rotations, in-house training and the opportunity to undertake a post-graduate diploma.

Main duties of the job

Our pharmacists are vital members of the multidisciplinary team, providing clinical services across a range of specialities, to provide safe, patient centred care. As a junior rotational pharmacist you will develop your skills through the department's services including medicines information, dispensary, Aseptics, and ward based services.

As a team we are committed to developing our staff and service and the majority of our junior rotational pharmacists progress into advanced pharmacist positions at HHFT.

Working for our organisation

We are located in the towns of Basingstoke, Andover and historic Winchester, with a wide range social and recreational activities including bars, restaurants, and theatres. Hampshire is the perfect blend of citycoast and country, blessed with the natural beauty of two National Parks and thriving culture, with history and heritage at its heart and as Hampshire Hospitals we are proud of the service we deliver to our patients.
