Trosolwg o'r swydd

This is an exciting and varied  position in the brain injury therapy team of the Brain Injury Service in Gloucestershire.  An opportunity to work as part of a small team and provide  therapy , as directed by therapists,  for the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) rehabilitation beds.  The majority of the role will be based at a care facility  (Whittington House) in Cheltenham which provides a period of re-enablement to people.  It would suit people perhaps who have some experience of care (eg HCAs, carers) who would like to develop skills supporting therapy.

If you enjoy working as part of a supportive, fun and dynamic  team, and are looking to continue your professional development, we would like to hear from you.

The post is band 3 (32.5 hours) Monday to Thursday but includes a requirement to work 3.75 hours on a Saturday every 2nd week. This is shared with another post (i.e. by working alternate Saturday half day and alternate half day on a Tuesday).
22.5 hours are permanently funded and will be based at a care centre in Cheltenham ; We also require the post holder to work an additional 10 hours a week based with the Brain Injury Team at Gloucestershire Hospitals Trust on a temporary basis for 18 months in the first instance.

For an informal chat please contact Dave Bowen ([email protected])  0300 4225138.
