Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Radiology department at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an opportunity for a Radiology Quality & Governance Support Administrator.
The post holder will be supporting the Quality & Governance Team, taking a lead role in maintaining all aspects of a high-level administration, on a day-to-day basis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team and contribute towards providing high quality care.
Additional contract details: 12 months fixed term or would accept a 12 month secondment, ability to work cross site, Mon-Fri

Main duties of the job
- To work as part of the Quality and Governance Team in Radiology.
- To provide a comprehensive administration service to the Quality & Governance Team on a day-to-day basis.
- To maintain and support development of databases, undertaking data input as required on appropriate information systems and monitor the department Quality dashboard
- Ensure policy control monitoring is in place and escalate when necessary.
- To co-ordinate various reports required for meetings ensuring they are provided in line with set deadlines.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
- To be confident and knowledgeable in IT systems.
- To manage the preparation of draft meeting agendas, notify attendees, book virtual meetings or room bookings, taking minutes/action notes.
- Producing high quality documents.
- To assist the department in QSI accreditation.
- Working with and supporting other colleagues within the Radiology administration team as and when required.
- Monitoring of compliance of appraisals & training in the department, expiration dates of policies and protocols, sending reminders to authors and escalating appropriately, quality assurance compliance for equipment, compliance of Health & Safety, EPRR and KPI’s.
- To establish a system of notifying staff when documentation is due for review.
- To support the Quality & Governance team in compiling information for submission.

Essential criteria
- Computer literate in Microsoft office products
Desirable criteria
- Level 4 qualification e.g. NVQ 4 or equivalent professional qualification or experience
- Training with CRIS

- Previous experience using/managing sharepoint sites
- Previous administrative/office experience

- Previous NHS experience
- Previous experience in agenda and minute writing
