Job overview

The One Gloucestershire AHP Support Workforce Development Project Support Officer will be supporting the early stages of the project planning which will entail, internal scoping for appetite and feasibility with support staff, managers and services, collaboration with training providers, data collection, internal and external stakeholder engagement, use of reporting tools and production of reports and updates. 

 The post holder will be employed in Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. This role will take a system wide approach across One Gloucestershire.  They will receive guidance from the AHP Workforce Education Project Manager capturing project related updates on the One Gloucestershire Project management portal, informing Project Reports which will be prepared and delivered by the Project Manager.

The ability to work flexibly at the One Gloucestershire sites, remotely engage and support colleagues who are working across One Gloucestershire and track progress against the project plan will be essential.


 

Main duties of the job

 ·       Work autonomously to provide efficient and confidential administrative and project support to the One Gloucestershire AHP Support Workforce Development Project

·       Deliver a comprehensive, high quality secretarial and administrative service that will enable project colleagues to perform their role effectively and maximise their time efficiently

·       Liaise with the One Gloucestershire AHP Workforce Education Project Manager maintaining the AHP Support Workforce Development Project document portal, supporting the preparation of reports for AHP faculty meetings and NHSE Project Progress returns

·       Liaise with the AHP Workforce Education Project Manager to ensure full responsibility is taken for any pre-meeting administration and monitoring of actions resulting from meetings

·       Liaise with One Gloucestershire stakeholders including Apprenticeship and Widening Participation Lead (GHC), Apprenticeship and Careers Lead (GHT), Primary Care Training Hub and One Gloucestershire AHP Support Workforce Development Project task and finish group members

·       Access, maintain and update project related databases and when required the interface for enrolling staff to local providers or Regional Further Education Institutions
