We love what we do and we think you will, too!

At Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (GHC), we provide joined-up mental health, physical health and learning disability services to people of all ages across Gloucestershire. We run community hospitals and provide care and support in people’s own homes and in a range of other locations across the county.

We are on a mission to enable people to live the best life they can and we have a vision to work together to provide outstanding careWe put people at the heart of our services, focusing on personalised care by asking ‘what matters to you’.

We’re passionate about making sure that everyone can contribute to achieving our mission and we are continually working to support healthy and happy high-quality teams in all areas of the Trust.

Trosolwg o'r swydd

Gloucestershire CAMHS is a large service made up of a number of teams including Core CAMHS who work with children and families with severe to moderate mental health needs, the Outreach Team is a community based service working with children and young people in a mental health crisis to prevent hospital admission and the Young Adults Service is a county wide community service which works with 16-25 year olds to support young people’s mental health needs through a goal-based person centred approach.

A new and creative role has arisen in our child and adolescent mental health service for a chance to develop your clinical skills and experience as a Band 5 clinician. We have 2 positions in our Core CAMHS and Outreach teams and we are offering 2-year rotational posts whereby you will spend 8 months in each of our Core CAMHS, Outreach and Young Adults (16-25) teams where you will have a wide range of clinical experiences. This enables you the opportunity to professionally grow and flourish as a CAMHS practitioner through developing your skills in working with young children through to preparing them for adulthood.

You must be able to adapt to different areas of work and working patterns and be flexible in your approach to care (including unsocial hours and be a car driver).

If you'd like to hear more information about the role and our team, please express an interest in joining our online event on 20th June via our Facebook page:
