Are you interested in a career in e-commerce? Do you have an eye for photography and enjoy researching designer clothing, vintage antiquities rare books and collectable vinyl?

We're looking for motivated individuals to join our fast-growing ecommerce business at our office based in Shoeburyness, Essex. Experience is desirable but not essential. 

Joining our existing ecommerce & operations team, the successful candidate will contribute to the end-to-end customer experience, from photography, customer service, fulfilment, after sales and merchandising.

This is a bank contract with work predominantly being undertaken over the summer period, for 6 weeks.

Main duties of the job

  • Photography of merchandise
  • Research into value of items
  • Drafting and producing copy for all listings
  • End to end customer experience
  • Answering emails/ calls
  • Postage of items sold
  • After sales customer support (telephone & online)
  • Assisting with training of volunteers in the studio.

Skills & Experience

Essential criteria
  • IT literate
  • Ability to produce high standard photography of saleable items
  • An interest of and understanding of online retail
  • A good standard of written English
  • Ability to manage own time effectively
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working in the Charity sector.
  • Experience of working with Volunteers.
