Job overview

We are seeking an experienced midwife to lead our growing Maternal Medicine and Antenatal Clinic team. 

If you are passionate about maternal and fetal complexities then we would love to hear from you.

The successful applicant will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to support families who have complex maternal or fetal needs, liaising with tertiary centres where appropriate.

This is an exciting time to join the trust as we are striving to enhance our maternal medicine and high risk obstetric pathways, providing an  ensuring safe and effective care to all women and birthing people.

 

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for the day to day management, clinical leadership and auditing and improving the service within the antenatal clinic. Antenatal clinic is the central hub for all women and birthing people who are receiving obstetric led care during their pregnancy

Essential criteria
  • Registered midwife with relevant experience
  • Post graduate qualification or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
  • Leadership Course

Knowledge/Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years at Band 6
  • Lead and facilitate staff development
Desirable criteria
  • Ability to lead and initiate change
  • Experience with working in the maternal medicine network
