Job overview
The Rheumatology Department is looking for an experienced secretary to join its busy secretarial team.
We are looking for someone with an approachable, helpful, flexible attitude who enjoys working as part of a team. You should have excellent communication skills, administrative and organisational skills and be able to produce accurate audio typing and respond to ad hoc queries and deadlines effectively. You should be comfortable working both in a busy office and at home as there will be a need for both. You should be confident to work autonomously.

Main duties of the job
- To ensure a high standard of secretarial and administrative service is consistently delivered by undertaking all required tasks and activities on a daily basis
- To utilise the required technology including Big Hand, Evolve, Microsoft and any other new technology or system(s) that are introduced and support other team members to do so to deliver an efficient administrative and secretarial service.

- Pitmas/RSA or equivalent in Audiotyping/Digital Dication

- AMSPAR qualification

- Proven experience as secretary or typist.
