Main duties of the job

The post holder’s duties will be at the Colchester Hospital but their presence may from time to time be required in other parts of the Trust.

This post is a replacement of a retired consultant. The post is designed to cover (5 PAs) at Colchester Hospital.  The post holder will have the responsibility of providing and developing the full range of Neurophysiological procedures.  The post holder will help deliver a modern and efficient Clinical Neurophysiology service at Colchester Hospital. Other responsibilities will include the supervision and training of clinical physiologists in the department, in association with the department clinical manager. There will be a commitment for time off in lieu (such as weekend work).
