Job overview
The Sepsis Compliance Assistant role within the Emergency Department is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous care experience.
You will be working alongside Doctors and nurses within the emergency department to ensure the Septic patient is treated within the
sepsis hour window.
The role will also include auditing our compliance to sepsis targets and documentation audits. You need to be a good team player with excellent communication skills that can work well in a time pressured environment.
Main duties of the job
· Assist with raising awareness of Sepsis, the importance of early recognition and intervention in the Emergency Department.
· Assist and use of the sepsis management tool, embedding Sepsis Six through the department.
· Carry out Sepsis audit as required.
· Real time auditing of Sepsis Tool completion, flagging of patients on portal and documentation of escalation.
