We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our busy and dynamic team as a Data Clerk.

You will be responsible for co-ordination of the National Joint Registry (NJR) & Surgical Site Infection (SSI) across both sites of the Trust. You will also assist with collating of data for Non-Arthroplasty Hip registry.

If you are an efficient team player who has excellent communication skills and good attention to detail, this this could be the role for you.

Main duties of the job

·         To identify & carry out surveillance on Orthopaedic patients following the guidelines of the UK Health Security agency.

·         To collect & submitted data to the National Joint Registry.

·         Collect/collate & provide audit information.

·         To use your own initiative, managing, prioritising, planning and organising own time using extensive knowledge, skills and experience.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE grade 5/C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Advanced level NVQ in health & social studies or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
  • Any relevant vocational qualifications (e.g. NVQ)

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous experience of working within a health care setting.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a busy & dynamic team.
  • Experience of communicating with a range of people both within and external to the organisation.
Desirable criteria
  • NHS experience
  • Experience of working with members of the public
  • Orthopaedic knowledge & experience.
