The Humber Centre for Forensic Psychiatry is a medium secure hospital, detaining mentally disordered offenders with a mental illness, learning disability or personality disorder. Robust security is essential to our working practice.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible and reliable Control Room Operative/Receptionist. The post holder will be required to provide cover at the Humber Centre and Pine View. The successful candidate will be front of house, patient facing and working to ensure the smooth running of both areas.
This is not a routine receptionist position. Anyone interested is strongly advised to ring on 01482 336200 to discuss the role and its responsibilities.
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
The successful candidate will work in a busy control room/reception dealing with staff, patients and visitors. They will be issuing and maintaining security equipment, and using a variety of systems that are part of the security processes at the hospital. They will be responsible for controlling access to the building, and expected to work closely with a variety of other staff.
They will be friendly, alert, self-motivated and have the ability to work on their own and as part of a small team.
The security control rooms are staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and so applicants must be aware that they will work a shift pattern that includes day and night shifts, weekends and bank holidays.

- 2 GCSEs/O levels English and Maths
