Job overview

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Assistant Research Practitioner within our Research and Development Team.

This is ideally a full time research post but part-time hours will be considered, that is initially for a fixed term of one year with a possibility of extension.

The research team work across all  of our Trust services to deliver research opportunities to our community. These are generally National Institute for Health Research Portfolio studies, for which we recruit in excess of 1000 people each year.

It requires an aptitude for working with a range of people from different cultures, ages, diagnosed conditions and environments.

We are looking for a motivated and organised person, with excellent communication skills, the ability to work in teams and an understanding of research. Experience of maintaining study site files, of interviewing research participants in healthcare-related studies and understanding research regulatory processes would be an advantage.
