Bank Staff Supply Chain Assistant – Band 2
The Procurement Department are looking to establish a pool of staff to support stores and materials management covering vacancies and leave.
The post is varied and involves receiving/ booking in deliveries, moving products around the hospital site and replenishing stock for the Theatres, Wards and Departments.
The role will involve the use of a PDA and a Computer on a daily basis.
Main duties of the job
Applicants should be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative, as well as being able to prioritize their own workload.
Applicants should have good communication skills as the successful applicant will be expected to liaise with staff at all levels via telephone or face to face.
There will be a requirement to assist in other areas of the department as and when required as well as work across both Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital as needed.
The applicant also needs to be flexible.
